DxO Analyzer - Key features

	A comprehensive measurement set in a turn-key solution to quantify the image quality of any image capture device. Measurements include: color fidelity and sensitivity, white balance accuracy, multi-point and bi-directional modulation transfer function (MTF), field-wide sharpness, depth of focus, dynamic and tonal range, exposure, ISO speed, noise (SNR, fixed pattern characterization, color noise), low light measurement protocol, distortion, lateral and longitudinal chromatic aberrations, light and color 2D vignetting, astigmatism, flash intensity and uniformity… Targets and protocols have been designed to ensure automatic detection and analysis of the target patterns. Such automation is even possible with an image of a real scene whereas a color chart has been placed. It enables to analyze color performances of a camera when used under real photographic conditions. Measurements at the component level with both RAW and JPEG processing capability. This provides the unique capability of assessing the image quality of the optics and the sensor separately from that of the image processing pipe. This capability is critical for camera or camera module manufacturers developing next-generation products by helping them fine-tune the image processing pipe and optimize the components of new products.
