There are two reasons that DxO Optics Pro is part of my workflow. For one thing, after a day of photography, I usually have several hundred images to process. DxO Optics Pro allows me to automate this processing.
I have created my own standard preset that I can apply to a batch of photos with minimal intervention on my part. This frees me to do other things while DxO Optics Pro processes my images.
Most of the images will be ready to use once this initial processing is done. For those images that require a little more work, I can easily re-process them manually with different settings. Once all of the processing is done, the images are nearly ready.
My stock agency requires 48MB or larger TIF files. My camera’s raw files are approximately 18MB in size when saved as a TIF. So, I need to interpolate these files to a larger size. In order for this to work well, I need to start with a very clean image. DxO Optics Pro gives me the kind of images I need.
