Image Science by DxO

Carl Zeiss chooses “Image Science By DxO” to ensure superior image quality for its new Digital Camera Eyepiece product line.

DxO Image Signal Processing (ISP) transforms the Zeiss Camera-Eyepiece for Digiscopes into full-fledge digital imaging products ensuring superb color, high contrast and sharpness in the images they produce.

A Digiscope is a spotting scope (or portable telescope) combined with a digital camera commonly used by wild-life photographers and outdoors enthusiasts because of the 10X to 250X magnification that delivers extreme close-up images.

Digiscopes are popular for birdwatching, nature study and telephotography. Achieving the requisite image quality for this technically advanced device is a real challenge. DxO ISP matches the tough technical specifications to deliver the best results for Zeiss’ first digital camera system.

    • DxO uses a very accurate measure, the BxU, to model image sharpness to restore details and eliminate graininess even in low light.
