DxO Labs Embedded Imaging solutions serve industry-leading camera manufacturers

DxO Labs leverages its industry-leading technologies developed for professional and demanding photographers to serve the world’s largest imaging companies: cameraphone and digital camera manufacturers; chip vendors (CMOS sensor, baseband or application processor vendors); camera modules manufacturers, etc.

DxO Labs’ Embedded Imaging solutions combine image processing technologies, silicon architectures, and optics designs to allow real-time still and video embedded image processing with the quality and cost required by its customers:

  • DxO ISP is an ISP based on DxO Optics Pro technology that delivers high-quality images even in very low light, using cameraphone low-cost sensors and optics. DxO ISP is delivered as a fully-programmable silicon IP optimized for image processing, allowing post-silicon firmware updates to support new pixels, DxO DOP, DxO DPP, or other features. Calibration and tuning productivity tools using DxO Analyzer technology reduce the integration cost and time to market for new devices. More…

  • DxO DOP is a new approach in camera design that consists of leveraging the co-optimization of lens design and image processing. One of DxO DOP’s practical applications is to develop camera modules with an Extended Depth of Field (or “EDOF”) to replace bulky and costly autofocus systems. More…

  • DxO DPP is a very compact hardware IP block that can automatically correct sensor faults such as Color Lens Shading (CLS) and Gr/Gb imbalance without the need for per-unit calibration. More…
