Services
The rapid expansion of the imaging industry and its application domains has increased the demand for image quality testing, training, and related services.
Thanks to our strong image science and engineering team, DxO Labs offers a range of image quality evaluation services supported through our worldwide test lab infrastructure.
Image quality test operations support
-
We support our DxO Analyzer customers in installing and operating their image quality evaluation lab. Our engineers and image specialists provide on-site training of your engineers and technicians so that they can confidently perform measurements to derive accurate and complete diagnoses of all tested devices.
Digital camera and image capture system benchmarking
- Benchmarking competitive products is a critical activity for many players in the industry. In particular, marketing departments consistently compare their own products to that of the competition. From consumer compact digital cameras and D-SLRs to webcams and specialized video capture apparatus, DxO Labs conducts image quality performance assessments for any camera, and delivers full performance reports for key image quality attributes. Reports include an executive summary as well as extensive measurement data that can be used to rank commercial products or early camera prototypes or systems.
In-depth evaluation of image capture components
- When designing new imaging products, R&D engineers and product managers focus on selecting imaging components such as optics, sensors, camera modules, and image processing chips from third-party vendors to integrate into their final products or systems. DxO Labs image specialists can provide all the technical information necessary to characterize and select image capture components.
To serve our customers, DxO Labs has a fully-equipped test lab in Paris, France, to perform the wide range of in-depth imaging device analyses and diagnoses that we offer, as well as training and product benchmarking. We also provide services via our distribution partners, Kyoritsu Electric Co., Ltd. in Japan, and MYT Technology & Development Co. in China.
