Feb 28, 2008 - An update on DxO Optics Pro v5 for Mac
Be assured that DxO Labs is dedicated to the release of the DxO Optics Pro v5 version for Macintosh. In order to reach the required level of quality for a beta version, the DxO Optics Pro v5 public beta Mac release is delayed to the second half of March.
This public-beta will allow Macintosh users to experience all the advances of version 5 (new RAW conversion, new Noise reduction, dust & blemish removal, new interface, etc…). The public beta will also support the Canon 40D, Nikon D300 and the Nikon D3 cameras. Beyond providing a preview of the final version 5 for Macintosh, the public Beta will also allow us to gather a large amount of end-user feedback before the final release. The final release date of DxO Optics Pro v5 for Macintosh will depend on the outcome of the public-beta program but is currently anticipated to be in April 2008.
Of course, our free upgrade policy remains in place for Macintosh users during the final development of DxO Optics Pro v5 for Macintosh. Any DxO Optics Pro v4 purchased after July 31st 2007 is entitled to a free upgrade to version 5.
We would like to thank you again for your patience.
