DxO Optics Pro v5.1 provides Macintosh users with access to v5 features as well as all the camera and lens support currently available.

What’s new in version 5.1 compared to v5.0.x for Windows users?

Version 5.1 includes important compatibility and stability enhancements,
Version 5.1 also delivers additional features.
Based on user-feedback, DxO Optics Pro’s preset management has been revamped in version 5.1.
Version 5.1 also introduces a relaxed license protection scheme (system wide Interlok drivers are no longer installed in the Windows version).

Availability and pricing

Version 5.1 of DxO Optics Pro is now available for both Windows & Mac platforms. The full product can be purchased from our online shop or from our resellers. Prices are identical to those of version 5.0/4.x.

Current owners of DxO Optics Pro v5.0.x (Windows) can upgrade to v5.1 for FREE via their customer account in the DxO Labs upgrade center.

Owners of versions 4.x or earlier (Macintosh or Windows) can purchase an upgrade to v5.1 via their customer account in the DxO Labs upgrade center. The upgrade is free for products purchased after July 31^st 2007. Upgrades may also be purchased from DxO Labs resellers.

To thank all users of version 5 (Macintosh and Windows) for their continued patience and custom over the last four years, DxO Labs is celebrating by offering a free DxO FilmPack v1.2 license to all DxO Optics Pro v5.1 customers (offer ends June 30^th).

Regardless of how their DxO Optics Pro v5.1 was obtained (new purchase, free upgrade, paid-for upgrade, online purchase, retail purchase…) all users of the v5.1 version on record before July 1^st 2008 are entitled to a free electronic license of DxO FilmPack v1.2. DxO FilmPack is a Photoshop/DxO Optics Pro plug-in and stand-alone application that accurately reproduces the color and grain of film on digital images.

DxO users who already own a copy of DxO FilmPack v1.2 and are eligible for this offer will be granted an extra license which they can use on extra computer stations. Click here for full details on this offer.
