Fixing common problems - automatically

Although some of the capabilities described here are available in other image editing software, DxO Lighting is unique because:

  • it’s automatic – no intervention is required in auto mode
  • it’s safe – image quality is never degraded
  • it provides local correction – each part of the image is treated separately but there are no visible seams or halos
  • it ensures consistent colour and a natural look

DxO Lighting is able to automatically correct for a wide range of lighting and exposure faults or difficulties:

1. Excessive or inadequate contrast

2. Under exposure

3. Lack of or weak flash
