Appropriating territories and cultures, Adam Jones examines their spaces in depth. His landscape photos exploit the infinite variety and subtleties of light to produce scenes both grandiose and intimate. Captivated by all things living, the photographer explores the animal and plant worlds to create highly graphic, bright and intense compositions.

Several of Adam Jones’s award-winning photos have gone around the world. His work has been featured in such prestigious magazines as Time, Life, and Aububon, as well as in National Geographic Society and National Wildlife Federation publications. Widely available in most large stock photo databases – including Getty Images, Corbis, Visuals Unlimited, Photo Researchers, and Danita Delimont Stock Photography – Jones’s images are used for illustrative purposes in over 50 countries.

Known for enthusiastically sharing his passion for digital photography, Adam Jones teaches photography all over the world as part of themed excursions, safaris, and seminars. In 1995 the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest honored Adam by selecting one of his images from over 19, 000 entries, as the winner in the “In Praise of Plants” category.
