TIMES SQUARE
In the Mur et Fleurs example photograph description, I mention how I love to push colors to their limits because I want to convey a feeling and not just record what is in front of me. If you have ever been at Times Square at night you know how all the neon lights assault your eyes and the sounds blast into your ears. I feel this photo conveys that by the super saturation of all colors and the sharpness of the details.
The image was shot at 1600 ISO with a Canon 1Ds Mk II and a 70-300mm lens, whose quality is not the best in the world, but is my favorite lens to take when traveling. DxO's ability to correct for all the distortions in that lens plus the amazing noise reduction, all done automatically, really shine in this photo and pull the best out of every pixel.
Make backups of your images and in DxO, experiment, experiment and experiment some more!
