Carlos Andres Varela
Carlos Andres Varela is a New York-based wedding and fashion photographer whose work has appeared in Altar, Playboy Brazil and Washingtonian Brides. Varela creates atmospheres using aspects of fashion, film and music, influenced by the work of artists Wong Kar Wei, Miuccia Prada and Gustavo Santaolalla. Inspired by people and environments, fortified by his travels and his native Colombia, Varela explores the intersection of interdisciplinary art with the intricacies of light.
He has been a photographer for over twenty years, has studied economics and electronic design and has worked as a professional photographer since 2005. He lives in Manhattan.
I love DxO because of the colors it gives you. In fact for many of my most popular photos I've only been able to get the colors (especially white balance) exactly the way I like them through DxO. And now with Version 7 everything is much faster, especially when batch processing (I would like it to be faster though). I can't forget to mention how good the noise reduction and high ISO images look. All in all, it would be the perfect RAW converter with no equal if the previews and editing was faster!
