Adam Jones has practiced photography for more than thirty years. Internationally recognized as a specialist in nature and travel photography, he is as comfortable in the wildest and most remote regions of the world as he is in large urban areas.
Appropriating territories and cultures, Adam Jones examines their spaces in depth. His landscape photos exploit the infinite variety and subtleties of light to produce scenes both grandiose and intimate. Captivated by all things living, the photographer explores the animal and plant worlds to create highly graphic, bright and intense compositions.
Several of Adam Jones’s award-winning photos have gone around the world. His work has been featured in such prestigious magazines as Time, Life, and Aububon, as well as in National Geographic Society and National Wildlife Federation publications. Widely available in most large stock photo databases – including Getty Images, Corbis, Visuals Unlimited, Photo Researchers, and Danita Delimont Stock Photography – Jones’s images are used for illustrative purposes in over 50 countries.
Known for enthusiastically sharing his passion for digital photography, Adam Jones teaches photography all over the world as part of themed excursions, safaris, and seminars. In 1995 the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest honored Adam by selecting one of his images from over 19, 000 entries, as the winner in the “In Praise of Plants” category.

Adam Jones and DxO Optics Pro
To be able to rapidly disseminate his images to stock photo databases, Adam Jones needs a conversion and processing tool that will provide him with the greatest possible reactivity. DxO Optics Pro gives him the image quality he looks for along with optimal production time. Its optical corrections allow him to automatically correct chromatic aberrations, lens softness, and vignetting. Jones also appreciates DxO Optics Pro’s denoising tool, calibrated to his camera: “If you like to shoot at high ISO, then you'll love how well DxO Optics Pro handles high ISO images. Right out of the box, it produces much cleaner images with less noise than any other software. I can easily shoot my new Canon 5D Mark III at 3200 ISO, and the results are unbelievable.”
