Frank Doorhof is a Dutch professional photographer who is particularly interested in the world of art and fashion. Published in many international magazines, the photographer has developed a style that imbues his work with a great deal of character and emotion.
Inspired as well by cinema, but also by such photographic greats as Erwin Olaf, Mario Testino, David Lachapelle, and Helmut Newton, Frank Doorhof demonstrates a perfect mastery of light. Playing with movement, he uses bright colors and glamorous atmospheres to enhance his models. “Being a photographer means that you need to be able to interact with people. The collaboration between the model and the photographer is what creates the magical moments in photography.”
Frank Doorhof’s creativity and human touch has made him a much-recognized and appreciated photographer. He loves to share his passion for photography and has collabored on many educational DVD projects and hands-on workshops. Frank and teaches his art around the world (USA, Dubai, Casablanca, the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Mexico), as well as twice a week in Emmeloord in The Netherlands. He and his photographer friend Scott Kelby team up for Photoshop World.
Known for his speaking skills, Frank has also participated in numerous events and exhibitions such as Photokina in Germany, SWPP and Focus on Imaging in the UK, Professional Imaging in The Netherlands, and Austria's Photo Convention.
