Astrophotography

Shooting starry skies means combining wide, fast lenses with high ISOs, so noise, distortion and softness can be a problem. But not with DxO PureRAW  4 in your toolkit. Night scenes are cleansed of noise while preserving the subtlest nebulae, with stars sharpened to perfection.

After going through the PureRAW engine, it’s absolutely amazing!

Events

Enjoy absolute confidence when shooting events — from weddings and parties to live music and theatre. DxO PureRAW  4’s AI-powered noise reduction means you can shoot in Auto ISO or stick to a high setting and still provide clients with pristine images.

Weddings can sometimes push hardware to its limits. PureRAW has given me increased convenience by not having to worry about going above 3200 because I know the result will remain very sharp. With PureRAW I don’t have to surrender to programmed obsolescence, so I can keep my SLR for a few more years.

Street

In street photography, you need to be adaptable. But processing RAWs with DxO PureRAW  4 opens up camera settings to make it easier. Safe in the knowledge that it lets you work at higher ISOs you can use smaller apertures for easier zone focusing or shoot at fast shutter speeds for crisper images.

Photos are sharper and with better noise management from the outset. I could achieve the same noise reduction and sharpness — but probably not with such good results. Plus it would take me much longer!

Drone photography

High ISO

With DxO PureRAW  4, high ISOs are no longer a barrier to creativity and quality. With its new DeepPRIME XD noise-reduction mode, you’ll gain as much as 2.5 stops of improvements. Shoot at settings like ISO 4000 and get images that look like 500. It’s a freedom you can’t do without.

The results are always amazing, especially if you consider the precious time saved on processing an image for a first post-processing.

Shallow depth of field

When you shoot wide open it’s because you want subject separation against a creamy, smooth, out-of-focus background. This can be compromised by noise, but with DxO PureRAW  4, bokeh stays clean, bright, and free from artifacts.

DxO PureRAW helps me focus primarily on composition and final photo expression.

Wide angle

Wide-angle photos can be spectacular, but these lenses can also create strong distortion, curving straight lines, deforming subjects at the edges, and losing sharpness in the corners. DxO PureRAW  4 automatically corrects them all, leaving you with pristine shots.

The truth is that it’s never too late to realize the potential of your photography.

Are you getting the best possible results from your camera’s high-resolution sensor? DxO PureRAW  4’s lens and camera profiles and advanced processing ensure the maximum detail is achieved while gaining peak performance from even entry-level lenses.

Having taught Photoshop since the late 90’s, rarely does something new come along that changes everything. Software like PureRAW is a true gift for us that demand perfection and I am blown away every time I use it! Thanx DxO!

Long exposure

How slow can you go? With DxO PureRAW  4, you can keep your shutter open for longer without worrying about ugly long-exposure noise. Motion-blurred areas become silky smooth with fine details shining through.

It is exceptionally useful for high ISO images, like night photography and low light photography. The resulting images are noiseless, sharp and the shadow with no loss of details.
