DxO PureRAW 6.2: Faster processing and smoother workflows for every photographer

DxO PureRAW 6.2 is now available, delivering a major performance boost for macOS, improved Lightroom integration, and a more streamlined user experience. This free update for version 6 owners reinforces DxO PureRAW's role as the essential first step in every RAW workflow, combining industry-leading image quality with faster, more efficient processing.

Version 6.2 reflects our commitment to making
DxO PureRAW the best possible starting point for every RAW workflow. We're building on our market-leading image quality by delivering significant speed improvements, while also refining the overall experience to make it faster, smoother, and more intuitive for photographers.

Dramatic speed gains for macOS users

DxO PureRAW 6.2 introduces a major performance boost for macOS, with processing speeds up to three times faster on the latest Apple silicon systems.

This leap forward is driven by ANE GPU parallelization, a new approach that combines Apple's Neural Engine and GPU to process multiple operations simultaneously. By intelligently distributing workloads across these components, DxO PureRAW 6.2 significantly accelerates batch processing, with M4 and M5 systems achieving up to three times faster performance.

The result is a faster, more responsive workflow, allowing photographers to process large batches more efficiently and spend more time focusing on their images.

Improved Lightroom integration

DxO PureRAW 6.2 also refines its integration with Adobe Lightroom on both Windows and macOS machines, giving photographers greater control over their workflow.

Previously, each processed batch of DNG files automatically created a new Lightroom collection. Users now have the option to disable this behavior, resulting in a cleaner, more flexible workflow.

Additional cosmetic refinements further enhance usability, ensuring that DxO PureRAW fits seamlessly into any photographer's existing workflow.

Built on unmatched image quality

DxO PureRAW 6, launched earlier this year, introduced several major innovations designed to push RAW image quality further than ever.

DeepPRIME XD3 now supports Bayer sensors, extending DxO's most advanced denoising and demosaicing technology to a wider range of cameras. High-efficiency DNG compression dramatically reduces file sizes without compromising image quality, while AI-powered sensor dust removal enables automatic batch cleaning.

Finally, new batch parallelization ensures high-volume processing remains fast and efficient.

With version 6.2, DxO continues to refine both performance and usability, ensuring photographers can begin every project with the highest possible image quality, faster than ever.
